CPR Class

Who should attend this course

This CPR Class  is specifically designed for those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of their job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. This is typically non professional healthcare providers who want to learn Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED).

What you will learn in this  Class

This American Heart Association approved Heart Saver CPR course teaches you how to recognize an emergency. A mixture of adult, child and infant CPR techniques are taught in addition to rescue techniques for choking victims. Delegates are also taught how to protect themselves by use of barrier devices.

How long will the CPR Class  last

To learn the specialist CPR techniques for adults, children and infants takes one hour per component and courses normally cover all three areas hence a course duration of three hours is the norm.

What you will have achieved by the end of the course

Completion of this course leads to the trainee being certified for two years in accordance with American Heart Associations guidelines. A fully validated certification card is issued to all attendees at the end of the course.

CPR Class Materials provided

All candidates in this course will be issued with a Heartsaver CPR  Student Workbook prior to attending this course. This workbook should be read before attending the CPR Class.
